Certain AI features allow you to connect your own third-party API key.
When you provide an OpenAI API key to MyStyleGuide.io, the key is encrypted before being stored. MyStyleGuide.io stores the encrypted key and limited information associated with it, such as the final four characters of the key and the date it was updated.
The complete API key is not displayed through your account after it has been stored.
When you initiate an authorized AI feature, your API key is decrypted on our server as necessary to authenticate the request and is transmitted securely to OpenAI for authentication and processing. The decrypted key is used for the requested operation and is not intentionally stored in plaintext by MyStyleGuide.io.
You may remove your connected API key through the applicable account controls. Removing the key deletes the stored key information associated with that connection from the active account data used by the Service, subject to any limited retention that may occur through backups, logs, security systems, or other technical systems as described in this Privacy Policy.
When you choose to use an AI-enabled feature, information necessary to perform your request may be transmitted to OpenAI or another applicable AI provider.
Depending on the feature you use, this information may include prompts, instructions, text, images, brand information, page information, or other content you choose to process using the AI feature.
Information transmitted to a third-party AI provider is also subject to that provider's terms, privacy policies, and data practices.
